Linked to leading industry, the NIT offers scholarships for highly motivated and outstanding individuals. With your application to the NIT you will be automatically considered for a scholarship.

Some of the industry specific scholarships are listed below. When applying, please indicate in your Statement of Purpose which scholarship you would like to be considered for as described in the admission procedure. Scholarships are granted by global companies such as DaimlerChrysler and Siemens but also by Small and Medium Enterprises, the so called "Mittelstand". These "Mittelstand" companies, many of them in the globalization phase, are the backbone of German industry - please make sure to carefully check their scholarship offers as well. For information about the scholarship offers contact the NIT, not the sponsoring companies. The selection procedure is done by TUHH and NIT only.

A scholarship includes with DM 40.000.- per year all tuition and fees, free accommodation on campus and further benefits as described here.

• Scholarships in the area of Information and Communication Systems, Information and Media Technology, and Microelectronics and Microsystems
• Scholarships in the area of Mechatronics and International Production Management
• Scholarships in the area of Process Engineering and Environmental Engineering
• Scholarships in the area of Materials Sciences
