AAC Offers Saturday and Summer Art Experience Scholarship Programs

Attention Current High School Students:         

T
he Saturday and Summer Art experience Programs are open to all interested, non-graduating students still enrolled in high school.  The Academy's curriculum is designed to accommodate all educational and artistic backgrounds.  Varying levels of experience are welcome to apply.

The Saturday Art Experience Program is offered in Spring and Fall, from February to March and from October to November.  Students may enroll in one class, which meets from 12:30-3:30 p.m. for six consecutive Saturdays.

The Summer Art Experience Program is an intensive, six and a half week program.  Students must enroll in two classes if living off-campus, and four classes if living in Academy housing.   each class meets twice per week for three hours per session.

Early applications for these programs are recommended, as space is limited.  A Mandatory orientation is held prior to the start of each program.

All students who apply to the Saturday and Summer Art Experience Programs will receive a scholarship, although availability is limited.  Scholarships and classes are offered on a first come, first-serve basis.  Scholarships are for tuition only and do not include fees (application, lab, supplies, transportation, meals or other expenses).

Attention Teachers and college-Bond Students:
ACC Offers Portfolio and Teacher Grant Scholarship Programs

AAC's Portfolio Grant Program is open to graduating high school seniors and community college students who are considering an undergraduate degree in art and design.  Recipients of the Portfolio Grant may enroll in Summer courses offered at the Academy of Art College.

The Academy's curriculum is designed to accommodate all educational and artistic backgrounds.  Students with limited experience in the visual arts are encouraged to apply.

AAC's Teacher Grant Program is open to secondary school and community college art and design teachers who want to refresh or expand their skills.  Participants are provided with a full tuition scholarship for courses offered at the Academy of Art college during the Summer semester.

Previous Teacher Grant participants are encouraged to apply.  A copy of a teaching certificate and a letter from a secondary school or community college verifying employment as a teacher are required.
