ideal course for all those aiming at an internationally recognized qualification in English. For the Cambridge First Certificate course you should have learnt English at school successfully for at least four years. For the course leading to the Cambridge Advanced Certificate your English should have already reached an advanced level. (N.B. There is also an even higher qualification named Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency.) The Cambridge certificates are awarded by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations. The First Certificate examination consists of 1. Reading Comprehension; 2. Composition (independent written expression); 3. Use of English (mainly grammar); 4. Listening Comprehension; 5. Oral Interview. The Advanced Proficiency examination is structured in a similar way, but participants must prepare themselves in an additional special field. Is that for business studies? In addition, Cambridge Business Skills (CBS) is an international qualification for business. CBS recognizes competence in practical business skills and consists of a range of modules. Students completing five modules receive full Certificate of Business Skills. 要怎麼申請? Fellow the Apply 123, provided in the WWW Edu Fair, for enrolment procedure. There are a number of British and/or Australian language schools provide the Cambridge exam courses. You may contact them for detailed information. 出路好不好? If you plan to work for an European company or organization in EC, it would be important for you to get the FCE/CAE/CPE/CBS. Cambridge Certificate courses are suitable for European students or employees wishing to extend their knowledge of business skills. However, it is rare that Chinese company requests their employees to pass the Cambridge examinations. |
